Sunrise over the Wheat Field

A studio is basically a place of work - most often of a creative nature. My studio throughout my professional life was a psychoanalytical office. It had its own background - my "study", where I read, thought and wrote psychoanalytic articles and lectures. But I studied more than just psychoanalysis there. It was a place where I pursued my other interests. Nevertheless, these other activities, such as poetry and other writings, in English and Polish, been also, one might say, "underpinned" by psychoanalysis. Because through it and thanks to it,

my internal studio has developed.

Here, in this online Michal Lapinski Studio, my psychoanalytic activity will not be very visible. This is understandable. What happens in the psychoanalytic studio remains confined to these inherently private experiences, generated in the encounter of two people

and recorded only in their memories.

I have created this studio primarily with my loved ones in mind. But I decided to open it, hoping that others might also find something that would interest them.

Welcome and thank you. If you wish, drop me a line.

A note about the language

This site is bilingual, just like me, but the content is not replicated in the other language. Poems and stories - in Polish and English - are primarily in the language in which they were written; they are not yet translated.

I haven't found a better solution to my language dilemma. Sorry !

By the way, the illustrations and photos which are not credited are my own.
